NABA operates a full-time, fully integrated manufacturing department that provides employment opportunities and produces high quality products. Our manufacturing department provides a wide range of employment opportunities for blind and visually impaired individuals working side-by-side with sighted employees. From sewing to quality control to shipping and receiving, NABA focuses on applying the latest technology to create jobs for blind and visually impaired adults. NABA pays minimum wage or better with full benefits to all of our employees.

In operation since 1914, NABA's manufacturing department has grown to a multi-million dollar business with sales to the United States military, the State of New York, New York City and private companies. Some of NABA's products include: traffic safety vests, necktabs for women's military uniforms, recycled tyvek suits, film and snack kits. Some of NABA's largest customers include: the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, the New York City Transit Authority and the Long Island Railroad.
